Renegade Fall Challenge

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Tourny fishing can certainly be tough.

Take a look at JP....he's been pouring his heart and sole into tourny fishing. He finshed 44th ot of 48 with a whopping 4 fish bag weighing 6.98lbs on Sunday. That's the reality for a lot of guys most days.

To consistanty finish in the money is a tall order.

It was a fun day, but I made the mistake of staying in deep water and not going shallow in the afternoon. It was nice to be out anyways. My problem this year has been in my mind and not taking enough chances. Next year I will be better.
And Marcus, We were 44 out of 49 not 48  Huge difference you know

Jp, this wasn't a dig, I just wanted to point out the reality of tourny fishing. A lucky day can be great, but bags just finishing out of the cash are more common.

Seeing some of those low weights make ya wonder what's worth driving back to the weigh in at Bassin for Bucks.....

Will a 2.7 do it????..

Bacon,

Great placing on Mississippi! With all the time you put on the water there you should of WON!! Maybe it's the rods your using or maybe it's the Stix's? Or a combination of both! Keep it up for Bassin' for Bucks!

P.S. I still hate the Mississippi!

Steve...you may hate the Miss but you always seem to cash a check there, ya had us by less than 1/4 pound I think...

The rods are workin great...think I should keep them..LOL

The stix..well I'll be seening ya for an order this winter..along with maybe some suggestions on new colors...We'll Baconize them.

RJ,
I think 2.7 could take second on any given hour.

It's hard to say RJ what it will take...
i'm looking forward to doing the Bassin for bucks on the miss i've come to really like that water , growing up on it in my younger days. Hope to see some of you guys there don't be afraid to say hi. It's very discouraging knowing that bass season is coming to an end after waiting for months and months on end, waiting for the damm ice to come off. Anyway see yea's at Bassin for Bucks
