Navionics US and Canada Boating App

The idea behind this APP is fantastic, I bought it for the convenience of use. I also have an old Lowrance H20C hand held GPS unit that is equipped with a Gold MMC card of the East Great Lakes with hydrographic charts. The Lowrance H20C equipped with the Gold MMC card is very accurate, when checked with a sonar, the depths are right on. The card that I have also includes the Ottawa River.
When using the Boating US&Canada App from Navionics the depths are completely wrong when compared to the H20C with Gold Card, and double checking with a sonar. You can't find dropoffs, submerged islands, or most anything else you would need to accurately find fish on the structure. I am not talking about a couple of feet, the depths are way off. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this APP, not worth your time, effort, and money. I have always enjoyed Navionics products, but they dropped the ball on this one. I have only tried it on Lac Dechenes, Ottawa River and was completely disappointed.

Has anybody had any experience with this app? If so put you two cents worth here, maybe I'm doing something wrong...
