Lowrance HDS-5X or the Humminbird 778c HD.
I'm going to buy one I just don't know which.

there's a brand new HDS 5 in the classifieds for $625. i can't speak for the Humminbird....but i love my HDS :)

I Know about the lowrance.It's a fellow from my area, I just don,t need the gps as I already a stand alone unit. But I am giving it a lot of thought.

Hi Louis,
I have purchase the Lawrance HDS7 last year at LeBaron and I love it, easy and nice clear screen. I now have allready forgotten where I fished last year but now with the HDS its all in the memory!!!

Lowrance HD all the way.

I have the 5 and love it.

70 ft of water vertical jigging for lakers and i can spot my jig if I can keep my line below the boat.
