i have an '04 princecraft super pro 186 platinum with an optimax 150. i'm looking to swap out the stock aluminum prop with something to improve the overall performance.
just wondering if anyone here with a similar setup or experience (um... boat sponsor!) might have some suggestions.
currenly i'm topping out at just over 45 mph with 2 people. i think alone i can hit 47. pretty sure i hit 49 mph before i added the 2 batteries and trolling motor.
boat review at boattest.com indicates a top speed of 50 mph at 5150 rpm with a laser 2 21 pitch ss prop.
i believe i should be in the realm of 5500 rpm with the optimax at full throttle.

They are hard to find but add a 21p Vengence to Norms suggestions they more cup for a better bow lift on a multi-rig. Either the Tempest and Trophy will be a HUGE advantage over the alum wheel you are running now.ChampionNorm wrote:http://appcenter.mercurymarine.com/propSelector/home.do
