Squeeky seats

I have pedestal seats in my boat, they are the kind that sit on poles or whatever they are called.

Well when we swivel in them they squeek. There is a large plastic washer that they sit on.

What can I use to get rid of the squeek? I do not think oil on the plastic is the best idea.

WD40. It won't hurt the plastic. :)

White Lithium grease. Longer lasting, waterproof.

Still amazed at the use people make of good ole WD40. Just remember it's designed as a water repellent and not a lubricator. Handy to have on cold fall mornings when your motor won't start at the dock!! but as a lubricator it won't last too long. Better to use a small amount white grease.
