I have to replace my floor in my boat...It's just plywood covered with blue outdoor carpet used for decks & patios...

Is there another affordable option other than that type of carpet?

If so where and around what price?

Not exactly cheap but the vinyl deck covering ( home depot) works great .The glue is the expensive part .
Washes up easily , easy to install and hooks don't get caught in it .

Vinyl is great way to go, just too much hardware [ screws and washers ]
and it gets much to warm for my liking, but sure makes for easy clean-up
Quality marine carpeting is readily available at most Marine dealers, and the blue that you might be looking for is a stock item at Laurentian Marine
so is the glue.
Just make sure that the present plywood that's in your boat is of the Marine variety Good Luck

Say Orresy, I was in home depot today lookin at carpet. Did you get the 100% Olifen, or whatever it's called, and if so how is it working out for you?

Thanks

Im not too sure I forget the actualy name of it. I had a choice of 3.. I got the middle of the road priced one. I liked it because it will breath a lot better and is significantly lighter than the other two were, that was important to me because I am only running around in a 16ft with some weight already. Im probably going to try and lay it in today, I will let you know how it goes.

I made a deck extension for my boat last year. To make sure i got the exact colour match i had to pass on home depot and pay premium prices from the dealer. It does look good and was fairly simple to install... the glue is nasty stuff to work with though... take your time and get it right
