My 25hp yamaha 4-stroke...Here's what happens
Boat usually sits till the weekends,so I put the boat in the water,squeeze primer bulb, motor starts on 2nd pull.
Proceed to favorite fishing hole 10 minutes away from launch,let it warm up for a bit,then WOT for 7-8 minutes...motor runs great..no sputtering no hesitation..it just purrrs along
Shut motor off and proceed to fish...after 2 hours I try and start motor won't go...OK, so I prime it again, check kill switch, all good...so I let it rest again and try later...bang 2 pulls away it starts.
Later on at home I change the plugs and gapped them to specs.
Cleaned fuel filter.changed the primer bulb(thought the out valve might be damaged)Even changed the position of the gas tank in boat to get gas line straighter
Next trip out exactly the same scenerio as above...I don't think its flooding itself, as I don't smell any excess gas. and when the motor is running it runs great
Any thoughts on this...
