won't start
Jaybird,
I'm assuming it will crank over. Do you get a sprk at the plug? Try cranking the engine while you place a screwdriver -one end touching the engine block and the other very close to the sprkplug connection that you have removed from one plug. You should see a small spark.
You should also see if gas will squirt out of the gas connector that is connected to the motor when removed.
If you ar running a vented gas can, was the vent open?
You mentioned you drove for about 1 hour in the rideau and then trailered it. Did you mean you were boating on the rideau for an hour?
Try the ideas it will help you isolate the area of the problem....Larry

I did this with my old 30 hp. I remove d the kill swicth lanyard when trailering so I wouldn't lose it. I forgot to put it back on
Spent 30 miinutes trying to start it. It was a manual start.
