Hey all,

Went out today to Pakenham at the bridge. Out for two hours and only mustered 2 10" smallies.

On the way home, I got to thinking about trying Fitzroy or Galetta. Does anyone know how to access the rapids at the bottom of the dam at Galetta or the low areas at Fitzroy? DO you have to pay to go into the park at Fitzroy?

Hey for galetta you can park at the generating station (dont block anything)
you'll get to see the "Terminal tackle tree" festooned with lures line and bobbers, really the place is a mess. you can go as far as the bridge then its private property. You could bring a canoe/kayak and launch there as well.
As for Fitzroy I just go to the boat launch and launch the kayak from there.
To enter Fitzroy park from the entrance you have to pay.
