				Eyes on the Fly

Well I finally managed to get out for an hour this evening to target eyes for the first time this season. Even though the water conditions were perfect, I was suprise that I was able to get into 5 eyes in such a short period.
This one was the second largest of the evening. The larger one was a little too big for me to keep a good grip on and managed to get free before I could snap the picture.
Looks like 2010 will be a good season for eyes on the fly!

				Hey TT,
Are you starting to lean towards the darkside? (aka fly fishing)

				awsome
do you fish walleye on the fly in the same spots you would normally?
i have been thinking about picking up a fly rod and trying some trout and anything elce on them
thanks

I typically stick to fishing rivers for eyes, and in most cases I'm fishing holes that are in the 6'-10' depth range. There are other fly fishing techniques for targeting deeper eyes in lakes, etc, that can be employed if I desire to fish those situations.
