Advice for Travelling South

Happy New Year!
I have the opportunity to go to Costa Rica at the end of January. Has anyone have any experience there they would like to share?
I am not sure if I should concentrate on the inshore fishing or look at saltwater fishing. I think that inshore would be easier on the budget.
