maps, maps, maps!

Satellite maps online at Google. Lets you drag & zoom, etc. Good for figuring out the shoreline, etc. of places like Petrie. Actually, if you type Petrie Island into the search box, it will show you where the bait shop is located.

This is great...you can virtually find any lake around. If it does not show on the search bar, just click and drag to the location you want.

It's also nice how you can toggle between a road map view and the satellite views.

I was hoping I could use it to find some open water.....but it's clearly a photo taken last summer sometime.....

RJ, more like April/May 2003... only the foundation of my house is visible in the pic... it was built in the summer of 2003.
