Upper Ottawa & Lake St. Lawrence Fishing

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Upper Ottawa & Lake St. Lawrence Fishing

Post by Suddsy »

Has anyone been fishing the upper Ottawa River above Pembroke or Lake St. Lawrence around Long Sault. :?: I am going to try and squeeze a couple more hard water fishing trips in before the end of the month. :D Thursday I am going to try Lake St. Lawrence around Long Sault for Pike/Walleye/Perch and Monday or Tuesday an overnight trip to the Rolphton area above Pembroke. There is a good article in the March Ontario Out Of Doors magazine on the Ottawa River. It mentions that their best big pike fishing begins at the end of March through the ice so thought we would give it a try. In there mind big pike begins at over 24 pounds so that got me real interested 8) .
