lake Simcoe..Port Bolster today..

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

lake Simcoe..Port Bolster today..

Post by SALMON »

:D Headed up to Lake Simcoe for some perch with Paint Man (not on fish hawk yet) . Arrived before the sun came up and headed out to try for perch. It was a slow day and we had to work for our dinner .. But our efforts were rewarded with enough good size perch for a meal. Very lite bite and perch were full of scuds and freshwater shrimp.

Good to see you still getting out on the ice Salmon. Any sign of the shore ice breaking up yet?

I should have given ya a few of those little crayfish plastics I have, they work great on simcoe.

We're heading out on the niagara on the 12th..it'd be great to have another boat join us?

:D I think you will able to fish Simcoe for awhile yet. Shore ice solid and 30" of ice several miles out where we were fishing.

Bolster

Post by Legend »

:) At Bolster, find 35' of water and toss a spreader down with minnows hooked through the tails.

You will have arrived at Whitefish Ville Ontario where everyone weighs 8 to 10 pounds. (I used to put a hut off Bolster)

Hopefully Caseys still has good minnows... :D
