I got a few fish mounts back today

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I got a few fish mounts back today

Post by Markus »

I picked up a few long awaited mounts from my taxidermist this morning.

Here's my my 48.5 inch Rideau Muski:

My 11.5 pound Quinte eye:

Bacons 48 inch Lake Erie Gar:

And a group shot of all 3:

I'm happy with all three and Bacon will love his gar. Pics don't do them justice, so I'm not only going to be delivering Bacons gar to him, but I'm gonna bring the ski and the eye as well so those interested at having a look can.

Nice mounts, drop a line to the board and let us know when you are going to deliver so that we can drop by and take a look.

They are all skin mounts.

Rex, if you're interested in having a peek, I'll be at the Ice Derby this weekend at Petrie....I should be in or around the bobber dome headquarters.

Good looking fish, all three. Muskie looks like it's on the chase after something to snack on. Probably the one I caught last September.

Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.

Wow, they look great! And the taxidermist even gave your ski some teeth. :P

Can't wait to get mine. And can't wait to see 'em live.

Mounts

Beautiful fish Markus.

From someone who has had to move a few of these around over the years... I would highly recommend not bringing them... they damage real easy and you know.... stuff happens.

Just thought I would share with you that they are super fragile. The pictures say it all.
