Jammer and I decide to go out on the bay to bring our huts in so they wouldn't get frozen in when the puddling water freezes tomorrow.

When we arrived. Both our huts weren't where we left them. We located his in about 10 minutes. A friend of ours had it and was moving it to shore.

Mine however remains a mystery. We combed the bay for an hour and couldn't find it anywhere. One of 3things has happened.

1. A kind sole has towed it to shore somewhere.
2. It blew out into Lake Erie. :shock:
3. Someone has a new hut.

Yesterdays wind should have blew it towards shore. This rain has made the ice surface smooth like a rink. There were huts laying on their sides and others where jammed up against anchored huts.

I'd be sad to see the HOF gone, but i'd really like to get my auger back. It was the only gear in it.

Sad to here it's gone,I watched it's evolution through numerous posts.Was it a power Auger you lost as well?

Hopefully as you pointed out a kind soul towed it in and not the other 2 options. :roll:

I Hope you find her.....but if you don't...you should be hoping someone did steal her....cuz if she comes floatin up in the lake....I'm sure the MNR will be paying you a visit...... :x

Registration # is on the door in white spray paint. I believe it's the only boxed black hut on the bay...no slope on roof.

Im sure youll get her back Markus!! If not, try to find out where she blew into erie! She will now be the location for some good fish structure :P

I hear that they have been looking for some Black Boxes in Erie for some years now... hope they didn`t mistake your hut for one of those..... :lol:


All kidding aside that is rotten luck Markus. She sure was a beauty hut for sure... funny the PBL goes now HOF go MIA... watch your huts out there.

Sorry, good luck with your search. Next hut should have a homing beacon or something, because we all know how often huts get stolen or just plain slide away.

hey marcus i saw your hut in detroit. for rent sign 2 bedrooms. really now i do hope ya get it back but with the rains and winds it might be structure

If it was stolen I hope the guy sticks his bare hands underneath to lift it :wink: Seems strange Jammers was there yours wasn't, big difference in weight? Just read about a power auger in the classifieds :lol: :lol: :lol:
