Ottawa Boat & Outdoors Show February 23-26
Don't forget Eastern Ontario anglers the Ottawa Boat & Outdoors Show runs this week from Thursday, February 23rd to Sunday, February 26th at the EY Centre in Ottawa.
Adult tickets are $16, Family pass is $35 and parking is FREE according to EY Centre website.
I always hear lots of people, say there are no good deals at these shows any more, but if you look I am sure you can find some deals on outdoor gear you needed or really did not need. LOL.
Personally I look at the shows more for their "entertainment and educational" value..... for the same price of a 90 minute movie in theatres you can wander around the show.... looking for deals, taking to fellow outdoors people and take in some great seminars.
Some great anglers scheduled to present on the seminar stage... Lawrence Gunther, David Chong, Peter Larmand, Big Jim McLaughlin, Brent Bochek and many more. Plus many great anglers from across Ontario will be helping out at the various exhibitor booths.... so go listen, ask questions, learn something new and have fun!!
So forget the latest Hollywood movie coming out this week and go out there and support our outdoor industry, and on your way to or from the show don't forget to stop by a local fishing retailer that might not be at the show and buy some more fishing gear.... you can never have too much. lol
