A Little Perch Action!!!

Well after almost 2 months of no fishing I finally got on the ice for a few hours on Sunday.... good to be back in the game.
The bite was a little slow and very soft.... but my buddy Scott and I managed to entice a bunch of perch to visit the top side of the ice, most were on the small side but some jumbos did make the trip home.
Tried a bunch of different baits but the only one the fish wanted was small pearl glow Rapala Jigging Rap tipped with maggots or a minnow head.
We had a few toothy critters make a visit as well, but they were not on the feed.... just chasing our perch away.

Looking forward to hitting the ice again soon.
