Perhaps we should all encourage the Province of Ontario to not only go ahead with their proposed Cormorant hunt, but even expand it year round. You can easily register with the Ontario government web site by following the link at https://www.oodmag.com/news/cormorant-hunt-works/

Don't let PETA stop this initiative.

Agree, great practice for waterfowl season. Mar - Dec 31 season is fine for this area... they are migrated south the other months.

Requirement to retrieve any downed birds is expected to be part of this, likely to control the short beards, birkenstock wearing, granola eating people from whining about dead birds on "their" lake. Although the cormies have solid bones, they do float initially. ... or "so I have been told"... hahaha

He meant, Need to kill all those "cormorants".

They have killed several trees on the islands in Lake Clear.

It has been reported that they can also take out all the fish in a lake, and near Presque Ile they are killing most of the trees with their toxic gauno, aks bird crap.
