Anybody know a way into Lafrance lake? In May I followed a road originating from the poweline to the east side of the lake and came to somebody's cottage so I left. Are there any trails or roads from the north, south or west?

I've fished most of the lakes along the K&P the last couple of years with pretty good success.
Bartraw and La France are pretty much the only two I haven't found ways into yet and I've been eyeballing La France for two seasons now.
It looks like you may have to come at it from Robertson in the South, but haven't explored that area.

There's an outfitter operating between Widow and Flower Round I've been thinking about visiting to see if they'd be helpful.
Most people aren't that eager to help direct others to lakes and I'd imagine a business would be more tight lipped, so I wouldn't hold my breath.
It never hurts to ask though.

If I find a way in my late fall explorations I'll try to remember your post.
