Fishin Week-end on the Bay of Quinte Oct 15,16 & 17
Fishin Week-end on the Bay of Quinte Oct 15,16 & 17
You're invited to an Autumn Adventure Week-end
at Blakewood Lodge on the Bay of Quinte
October 15, 16 and 17, 2004
The Event:
Join us for a week-end on the famous Bay of Quinte on Lake Ontario. Is there a world record walleye in here? Many will be trying for one. Some will be sampling the bass and pike fishing and a host of other species. Whatever your taste, The Bay has something for you.
Are you a novice angler who wants to learn more about fishing? There will be plenty of more-experienced anglers around who like to share how they catch good fish. Some share and share and share. Talkers is what we call them – and it is amazing that some of them can manage to share and eat at the same time!
Accommodations:
Fish-Hawk.Net will be hosting this fishing party at Blakewood Lodge. This Lodge is run by Roy and Wendy Curlew and is nestled into Hay Bay on the bigger Bay of Quinte. We have secured 36 beds for an event that many are anticipating will be the best Adventure Week-end ever!!! How can it possibly be better than the other week-ends? (How bout less wind and more fish for starters).
The beds are spread out in 8 four-man cabins and a 12 man cottage. We have some of these beds reserved for the use of special guests…if we can come up with some special guests that is. We’re working on it. It's first come - first served - your $50 deposit secures your spot and a great chance to catch trophy walleye and bass and pike.
Pricing includes:
- two nights accommodations October 15 and 16
- five meals starting on Friday night with supper
- a cool t-shirt commemorating the event
- a map of The Bay; and
- unbridled enthusiastic conversation about fishing for three days – can you take it?
How to Register:
Send Craig “Canadian Bacon†Barton-Hill an email at craig@supersavercanada.com. Please remember that registering does not reserve your bed…your $50 deposit will. “Bacon†will need to know the following when you register:

Going back to school sucks! When it comes to fishing that is.
I just went through my schedule and I have the entire month of October booked for Sunday's 9-5 pre-requisite classes.
I guess that's what happens when you're trying to do a Masters without a prior B.A.... school on weekends.
Good luck out there and I'll feed off your tips for the month of November where I will have all my weekends to fish.

Yee...Haw(g)!
I am in for sure...I have sent in my deposit and looking forward to the trip. If the fall turn over has not happen by mid October I may trailer the boat to the Bath launch to fish the Gap in Lake Ontario and look for big eyes stagging in holes before making the move into the Bay of Quinte. Also the outflow at the Hydro Plant is good for Brown and Rainbow Trout at this time of the year.
See ya's at Quinte.
