Smallies Take A licking - Paul Needs A New Seat

The one hour drive from my house was punctuated with methane gas expulsions from the frowning driver making is seen that the lake was further away than last year. At by 7:30am we were launched into the main part of the lake and into our season.
Paul was a bright ray of sunshine (NOT) as usual after quickly picking up an uninvited pike:

I think he thought he was playing Guitar Hero here:

Even a couple of donkey bronzies on a White Spinner Bait didn't make him crack a smile.

Then it happened... I took one for the team. I knew what I had to do to get that flatulating grimace happy. I had to lick it.
Oh GAWD... This one??

Yup.

Unlocking the smiles on Paul was only a matter of understanding his proclivities.

Sick egg (And smells a little like them too), but he is a blast to fish with... once you get him smiling.
