pick your poison
What are you guys and gals planning on throwing on opening day? I plan to throw a River2sea junkyard jig teamed up with a 7'6 GLX and a LEWS with 65LB super slick! Then probably a power team conviction craw teamed up with a 7'11 GLX and a LEWS with 65LB super slick
Re: pick your poison
I've got too much new gear to decide on just one. Plus, I'm heading to a body of water I have never fished so chances are everything will be on the table.

Re: pick your poison
J11 chartreuse jointed rapala in the shallows, white 8 inch slugo and for deeper water weighted Yum Dinger (wacky), ....we'll see where the fish take it from there.

Re: pick your poison
Probably gonna keep it simple; a Strike King shadelicious swimbait or a Booyah Spinnerbait in Chartreuse perch colour to kick things off! Can't wait!

See, That is my problem. More than one "poison" to try out.CN wrote:megabass s-crank

Re: pick your poison
I have nothing fancy and new to try. But I can't wait to rig a Senko, Wacky style and pitch it through some lily pads. And ditto for a frog.

Re: pick your poison
All depends how the weather sets up on/leading to opener, but most likely I'll be fishing a flipping jig for largies/ drop shot for small jaws.
