				Hi
I am just wondering if any of you experienced fishermen (fisher girls)
would ever put blades on one of these?
Thanks in advance

I wouldn't more so because I wouldn't know where to put them.
The grande forum that is fish hawk is good to ask any type of question!

I only said no as I'd have no idea where they could go on that style bait, maybe a belly hanger?

I don't think it would swim any more. The blades would be on shaft attached to the line tie I assume.
Its also not through wire, not sure I would even cast that in the vicinity of a big muskie

I agree with Relic. The blades may affect the swimming action in a negative way.
I'm also not too sure where you'd put the blades on that lure.

I would think the blades are there to simulate bait fish that the pike is supposed to be chasing to trigger a strike by the Musky. That being said, I would think the only place to put them is in line?
Would a prop type blade have the same effect without impacting the swim performance?

Leave the lure as is, it’s gorgeous!
I have never seen anything attached to a hard bodied swimbait, IMO would impede on its swimming purposes.
You can always add feathers to the trebles for added flash.
I can only think of one lure with both prop and a blade that does not counter the lure’s purpose, Jackall Binksy.

Let us look at this mathematically. Now saying the blade is x and the lure is y then you will need to factor into this w & z which would be wake and drag....now if X + W = Z - Y then take 3.1415 x the weight of X or X2 if it is a double cow girl blade and - Z from W to account for X creating a turbulance for W & Z. Then using this you will easily see that due to the stress on the water column from X it would make Y not function as designed so if I were you I would add 2XW to YZ2 and multiple that by G which is the rate of speed travelling to get O which is the optimum output of the blades to the lure.
Seems simple to me.

Behind the front treble, on the belly of the body. I could see a small willow leaf blade working great there to give the bait some flash. The added racket of the blade hitting the body may help too unless it conflicts but I'm sure that could be modified too.
That being said, it looks pretty good the way it looks and would attract fish anyways with commotion from the of water it moves.

WOW I guess I have been gone a long time
There was a time where there could only be one possible reply and that would have been something along these lines....
"Mr.J. we would be disappointed if you didn't"
I used to be well known for throwing blades on everything. For those who like to fish pike, make yourself one of these and you'll have a great day of catching, can't keep the pike off of them. If you ask nicely I might show you my musky lures with blades.
