OPP/MNR

I've been stopped 3 times by the OPP and once by MNR on the water so far this year. OPP was checking for the safety stuff and didn't give a rats %ss about license or fish on board. MNR checked for license and fish on board, didn't give a rats %ss about safety stuff. I realize it's different on land but one would think McGuinty could save the provincial tax payers a bunch of money by having one regulatory body checking both at once on the water rather than paying for two. OK...I've vented and feel better now :D

Mostly on smaller lakes if the O.P.P checks you, they will check for safety, alcohol, papers and( sometimes) fishing licence+your catch.
but if the M.N.R checks you they are only concerned about licence,catch/possesion.
all the same I am just happy to see either on the water,(keeps the Idiots/pochers in check)

Sometimes, not often the OPP and the MNR will jump into one boat and check all these topics!

Don't get me wrong...I don't have a problem with them being out there. They are polite and friendly, not giving me a hard time at all. I just thought it was a bit redundant being stopped by 2 different officers and was McGuinty bashing.

big-o: maybe they want to see if crazycrawler has her bikini on again
