Heading to lac la Peche for a bit of canoe camping and fancy taking a rod or two. Any tips, suggestions about fishing there from a canoe?

Buddy of mine indicated fishing was easy up there. He would troll around while canoe and just catch fish... Not huge but plentiful especially close to the canoe campgrounds.
