so i went out to a catfish creek to see if i could beat my personal best and ended up catching a few white walleyes? no color what so ever black grey and white? anybody els encounter this?

if there's enough interest ill go through the trouble of posting pics...

A sauger usually doesn't have much color.

^^^ Sauger is what I was thinking also....

I'm thinking sauger too, although in murky water, walleye can be VERY pale i.e. South Nation River, Lake Abitibi, and even the walleye from the Ottawa lately are lighter than usual.

I've also noticed if you fish the murky waters east of Ottawa some of the walleye/sauger tend to be a lot more pale.

Got to be Sauger, same thing different shade with more black spots and eyes are a odd shade.
Taste the same

ok so one of them could be a sauger (the smaller one) even though I've caught sauger before and they still had more color then this but the bigger one did'int have spots on his tail (witch tells me its a walleye) and was still abnormally pale.....

Just looks like a light coloured walleye, they can change quite a bit depending on water colour surroundings etc. The top pic actually looks like a saugeye. It has a white tip on the tail similar to walleye where that is absence in saugers.

The light colored one is just a light colored walleye. See those all the time in muddy colored waters.
