This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Brookies??? Up Here In The Backwoods!!!

Post by Walleye'm Fishing »

I've been fishing this tiny lake for 20 years now. The fishing is fantastic but I only fish up here once or twice a year at most.

If you're up here at the right time, they're on fire.

Up here, they always put up a great fight.

Pure beauty lives up here.

16 inch brook trout such as this nice female are fairly common in tiny lakes up here.

A nice fat 16 inch male speck from up here.

Now that was a great day of brookie fishing up here in the backwoods!!!

Way to get one last one in!
Love the fall colours.
I'm really sad the season has ended. I still had so much more fishing I wanted to do.
It's going to be a loooooong winter.... Ugh...

Thanks for the kind words guys. :handgestures-thumbup:

It's always sad to see another trout season coming to an end. :(

Now it's time to switch gears and begin focusing on night time fall walleyes from shore :!:
