I took my son fishing on the weekend and he landed this toothy critter in the Ottawa River. It was easily his PB fish. Unfortunately for me, it is bigger than anything I have caught, too! He won't let me forget it. I didn't weigh him, though.

Nice fish! I'm still looking for a Pike this season
I don't weigh my fish either; I take a measure and look up length to weight measures on the internet. It's generally a good approximation.

Yeah, we do the same. That fish looks to be 30 - 32" very solid. Congrats to Ryan.

Fish was caught on a William's Wabler spoon, silver and gold finish, medium size. Depth was 5-7'. We were surprised to find pike in such shallow water this late in the season. Most of the pike we caught were much smaller but in this same section of water.
