This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Do the math, 100% payout, kudos for a lot of volunteer effort by RJ & Birdee to put this together.

Bobber - or mods
How about making this a Sticky?
Maybe the Aug 17th tournament can be "unstickied" as it was 38 days ago.

I have a 5 pound 2 oz smallie in a lobster trap just west of Rideau Ferry. Been checking up on it and force feeding it weekly.

PayPal payment of $100 guarantees I won't pull it in the hour you request.

Why are you hiding a 3rd place fish? :D

That 5 lb 2 oz fish better be the fish of the first hour, cause after that it won't cash a cheque.
Started doing scouting runs, and they are very favourable to BIG FISH.
Come on guys, get off your wallets and get more entries coming in. Best body of water for large fall smallies.
Lots of areas to get out of the wind and still get darn good fish and NO CURRENT.
Come on Renegade Boys, don't put your toys away yet, best fishing just getting started.
All you other Bass Circuits, at least send some representatives, your money is all good for this tournament.
Snow in Alberta last night, water temps still up in mid 60's.
Need the bottom to drop out so we have a reel treat " EXTRA BIG FEESH "

Tournament hours are 8 til 3....We are firming up a few things that will have us over 100% payback of cash and prizes!

Teams from as far as North Bay have entered...

I normally don't fish tournaments, but... I like the way this one is structured and the time of year lends itself to my favourite fishing techniques. Working on putting a team together, if things work out I will be on the Rideau instead of a tree stand on the 19th.

So you think I'm into the sauce.
Wouldn't it be nice to see every hour win with a fish of at least 5.5 lbs.
At least here on the Big Rideau, there are places you can go to get out of the wind
and still catch darn good fish.
NO CURRENT also.
It would take some of the pressure off the St. Francis fishery.
This time of year Oct. 19th no big boat traffic either.
Come on dudes, lighten up and get ready to load 'em up.
BIG FEESH season getting close.

Happy to announce Pirate Cove Marina has come to the table with a "hidden weight" prize. Prize is valued in excess of $300 which includes outdoor storage for the winter and all the labor costs involved in winterization.

Thanks to them!
