Well, this has been an excellent spring for me on the fishing side of things. Wild turkeys, not so much..................

Last year we found a shoal that held BIG bluegills in late summer. A couple days ago, we went to see if we could find it again, and if the big bluegills were still there, or for that matter if they were there this early in the year.

WELL!!!! WOW!!! is all I can say, I never had BULLgill fishing like that in my life. We quite fishing after maybe an hour and a half, we had a fabulous feed of 'gills, and probably twelve of them were over a pound. INSANE!

Yes my shirt is soaked with sweat, not from exertion but from the freakin' HEAT!

Yes indeed, some fabulous fish and some unbelievable fishing. We were releasing good-sized bluegills that would be just about as big as a person would normally catch on most of our lakes around Kingston.

Now to see if the OTHER species in that lake have the feed bag on, and are similarly beefed up!

Some great Bulls there Doug! The lakes I spent the spring on don't have em in it sadly. Always a reliable biter!
