This was my first Crappie season and I caught a number of good eaters. this is a picture of my sons first one (with help ), he was impressed by the size of their eyes. I thaught him how to lip some of the smaller ones but this one was too big. He insisted this one go back.
Mom was not impressed by the fish slime on the jacket

Awsome pic of the young one he looks impressed and as far as mom goes nothing tide can't fix no smelly fish no fisherman

Excellent!
Still have yet to find a pod of crappie this season.
Seems with the higher waters they aren't were they normally have been (at least in my limited experience).
But, fishing with the little ones is always fun times!

Jimmy trolling up and down the 417 on your motorcycle just wont get you any crapies

I find crappie bay usually has some up until june.. then they disappear

This weather and the "honey-do" list have made riding tough this year,
I just dropped a 103 kit in her too....
