Pike Opener
Hey guys,
I got kind of spoiled this weekend. I pulled out 2 hogs but the others were decent little guys too.
Cheers,
Chris

Re: Pike Opener
Nice fish Chris...
On a side note, with the larger fish, proper handling would be to craddle them, as opposed to hanging them from their jaw. With larger fish it's easy to break their jaw. I'm sure the muskie guys would get quite upset to see a big muskie hanging as such.

Re: Pike Opener
Right under the Bronson bridge, I didn't cradle the fish because it had died all over it, that's why the others are lying flat, and it's not a musky
Re: Pike Opener
Nobody told you that it's a Musky but I'm sure that Pike would mind proper treatment as well.crwalker1987 wrote:Right under the Bronson bridge, I didn't cradle the fish because it had died all over it, that's why the others are lying flat, and it's not a musky
You caught nice fish, and if you like to keep them healthy treat them well.

Re: Pike Opener
Tough call on handling. Some folks I believe use Boca Grips for fish like pike and muskie for innocent reasons...
Anyways... however ya handle things dood. Couple nice opener pike for ya and I hope you enjoyed yourself.

Re: Pike Opener
Sure..., next time roll them in sand, add some road rash, let them dry a bit and only then throw those poor buggers back ...TLunge wrote:Nice catch bud! Don't mind those wierdos Lifeisnofun and Todd B. They are PETA members They don't even fish
