Hi there all,
I am told the Muskie fishing on the St. Lawrence can excellent. Looking for a guide in the area that knows what he or she is doing. Anyone know of anyone in the Prerscott-Ingelside area?
Much appreciated.
Jeff

I've been told by the few that fish it that it is a good area for muskies but I don't think anyone guides there at least not from the Ontario side. Lots of guides up or down from there.

Her's a couple just down the road in Gananoque, some good fishing in the 40 acre area.
Greg at Muskie rush is a great guy and really knows his stuff.
good luck

As DropShot'r recommends, you just can't beat Marc Thorpe as a muskie guide on the St. Lawrence. Although he primarily fishes further east, he will travel.
Suggest you try Lac St. Francis or further east instead of Gananoque area where the muskies are few and far between - due in great part to the devastation of the VHS virus a few years ago and over-fishing from both sides of the border.

Go to Carpin's or the Outpost in Ingleside and they will put you in touch with the local muskie guide.
Thanks

Thank you everyone for all the helpful information. I love Fish Hawk. Where else can you get immediate, useful and honest information about local fishing?
All the best!
Jeff (p.s. got 6 pike on Saturday morning. No monsters though) I'll be sure to share in the future.
