Parking at Constance Bay

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Parking at Constance Bay

Post by Fly Willy »

Hey folks,

I was just wondering if there is a place to park out at Constance Bay or Buckhams's Bay? I will be headed out there this weekend and would hate to waste my time driving around looking for access/parking when I could be fishing.

Thanks in advance.

lots of people park on the road and walk onto the ice, and lots of room to park where the ski doo trail heads across the river, just a short walk from there to the mouth of buckhams bay which is a good spot

I heard that if you're close to the water you will have to pay that's why everyone parks on the road and walks. Good luck and be safe.

Raydar,

The road is right beside the water. No problem parking there.

Ok thanks. I've only been there once and that was last year, we parked on the road and walked. There was some guys we met on the ice and they said that they had to pay $5 at the restaurant right on Constance bay road. I'll take your word for it , besides free is good.
Happy fishing

Well, there's two restaurants in the Bay, The Point, at Sand Point, and The Lighthouse, further towards Bucham's Bay. If you park in their lot all day, I can see them charging you. But the side of the road is free, just watch out for no parking signs beside the fire roads. Good luck.

Some guy on the ice told me, I didn't pay anything. But like I said this was last year.

Unless something has changed from last year, there is no charge for parking along Bayview Ave in Constance Bay...There is a $5.00 charge to park at Contance Lake Lodge (Constance Lake Rd).
