This afternoon I went to tried for the walleyes on the Nation river at the mouth of the Castor and I got 6 walleyes with the biggest at I would say close to 3 lbs :) . Theres a good 8" of ice there but there some spot that there could be less so just be carefull if you dont see any peoples just dont take any chance. Heading there again tomorrow afternoon. By the way they where biting on the rainbows color buckshot jiging spoon.

Nice fish Yves, the buckshot is a great lure for walleye.

Nice work Baz, I chose to hit petrie instead of the nation yesterday....looks like I should have hit the nation! Maybe I'll see you there today.

Went again this afternoon and I got another 5 walleyes and 4 perchs. The walleye bite was from 4:30 till 5:00 this afternoon and I could catch a walleye before that time. The bait of choice was the rainbow buckshots once again for the walleye and the orange buckshots for the perch.
