This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

First Ice Fishin Trip -Quick BoQ Report- Sat,Dec18,2010

Post by QuintePrince »

Hey Everyone,

Figured I'd make a quick report of my first ice fishing trip this season (Bay of Quinte) .. was out lastnight for an hourish before dark .. I went 3 for 5... a 3,4 and 8 pounder .. I took quick pictures on my iphone with no intentions on making a post so sorry for it being such low quality .. can't wait to hit up the ice again .. Be cautious and check your own ice. Take care and Be safe out there. Goodluck.

Thanks everyone :)

Andy I was in about 16-20 ft of water, it was a last minute outting and I couldn't find my fishfinder lol

Great Start for you this year too Martypoo  :P

Redmandant, I was fishing Belleville area, it was my first time out that way at this spot. Sherman's point is about 5 minutes away on my street but I don't know if there are people starting to fish it yet, I'm sure there is but the last I heard was that the ice along the shore is very sketchy still.
