Brand new boat launch ramp in Masson....soon!

Well it's in the newspaper and I guess it is official....they will take away the old boat launch ramp at the Masson ferry and do a bigger and better one...with some more upgrades in the parking lot and even on the beach......will it stay a free launch site??????....maybe not!

the guys that own that place are millionaires anyways.

I think it will stay free ! The guy has no use for it plus if he makes it look good at least it wont look like crap like it does right now on his land.

I don't know this guy... but I cannot think of an instance where a rich guy decided to spend a pile of money just to be a nice guy.

Seriously.

Unless you are talking about Bill Gates and Africa... building a boat launch in Masson is not something that will get a statue of yourself in the town square.

Improving a boat launch that is already better than 3/4s of the ones I have seen on the Ottawa, both free and pay ones... will not be done for a philanthropic cause.

This guy's friends probably laugh their butts off at him because the next closest launch is getting $27 a pop while he gets to clean up his property after the ice fishing season is over... at his expense.

Rich people don't get rich or stay rich being a dope.

hummmm..I think this is a city contract...Marc Bureau gave the green light on this....makes me wonder?
