Hit the water for a few hours yesterday and hooked this nice Northern Pike. My previous best was 31 Inches, this one measured 33 Inches and weighted in at 8.5 Lbs. Here is one of the pictures......If you want full story and pictures visit my blog...

nice fish man, that things a beast, im going up to to try for some pike on lake manitouabing this weekend, hopefully ill come back with a good report!

Good old Reed-Runner....Lol
When ever Im covering water with weed beds, it's the best lure I find. Doesn't pick weeds like a crankbait or jerk bait! You never know what your going to catch with a spinnerbait.

Ozile's also sells Reed-Runners and they've become my favorites. The 1/2 oz chartreuse+orange with chartreuse willow blades got me some real nice largies this summer and some of my biggest pike too. It can take a licking as well. I must have caught close to 100 fish on the same spinnerbait by now and it still runs perfect. Nice pike man!

At least this one isn't commercial.

Nice pike, has to be cool been so close to the fish. I've got to do more Kayak fishing next year.
