How safe is navigation near Wendover/Plaisance?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

How safe is navigation near Wendover/Plaisance?

Hi, I've been meaning to head up toward that area for some time now and might do it in next Friday. I was driving by on the 148 (Québec side) and the water looked shalow and rocky! Are these waters safe right to now to navigate? Will be targeting primarely Eyes, and might adventure in the bays for some Bass action, either way, am i O.K...

Any info that would be appreciated. While i'm at it, any one have any tips to perhaps narow down my serching time? :)
