My good buddy and I will be heading down again. We had some great walleye fishing at the past two opener's. Last year I got my PB at 8lbs only to beet it by a pound and a half 20 minutes later! My fishing partner got his PB the year prior.....
I have been going down for many years now, hell first place to wet a line and catch a Walleye, why wouldn't ya!!!
Any how, just sipping on a coffee and looking forward to the annual trek and I just thought I would see how many from here are going to head down.
That said, like here the water levels are very low there. Here is a link to another forum where with a bit of info:

I am going to Pickerel Park the following weekend; six of us are going. I think the opener will be a zoo.

It's busy for sure, but it's also a large body of water. Certain area's pack up but you can alway's find space/spots. With all this warm weather, I'm concerned about all the big ciow's heading back off to Lake On. The sooner the better..... Plus it's fishing!!!!!

There are 8 of us heading up to pickeral park this weekend for the opener and we do every year. Its actually not too bad there as far as launch times go I have heard of crazy waits at other places but at pickeral park i have never had to wait longer then 10 minutes or so and the longest. Any how cant wait to get out on the water this weekend

Sheldon and I will down there doing our Spring Walleye School. The wind looks like it will kick up a bit on the Saturday and calm down on the Sunday, but that's 5 days away I'm sure it will change by then.

I would welcome a nice walleye chop........
Good luck to all and be safe. Remember your boaters card/all safety gear, light's etc..... The Cop's are out in heavy force!

25km winds out of the south on Saturday so pack the drift socks if you plan on jigging or working weed-lines.
I will be teaching with Gord at our spring walleye school and if the winds hold, we will be showing some of the tricks involved in boat control.
Have a good weekend, be safe and see you all out on the water.

I'll be heading down on Friday and will be sticking around till the end to collect all my winnings
Hopefully the wind will calm a bit so it won't be too hard to maintain boat control.
Was in to LB's today to stock up on some must have's.
I'll be staying at the Picton Harbour Inn so I hope to bump into a few FHers while down there.
Good luck and be safe!!
