Bullheads on the Nation?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Bullheads on the Nation?

Post by Chefman »

I was wondering if anyone has fished for bullheads on the nation west of Chesterville? Is it better bullhead fishing east of chesterville? I was also told that above the Spencerville dam was a good spot. Anyone wetted a line there?

Hey Chefman 1rst of all welcome to fish-hawk. For bullheads I never fish for them on the Nation east of Chesterville and the bites is just non stop action from Chesterville all the way to Casselman. If you want to find a spot take a drive around the river and look around for peoples fishing on shore there everywhere around the Nation. If you want more info about some perticular spot just send me a pm and all send you in the right direction.

Sorry I just realised I make a mistake on my posted I mean I never fish for bullheads west of Chesterville instead of east previously mentioned. But Im shure theres good bullheads fishing west of Chesterville. Maybe you should send a pm to Nips I think he fish that area west of Chesterville. As of above the dam in Spencerville I never fish there but I heard it was a good spot also.

I live in chesterville and they can be caught west of there all the way to south mountain, but usually not the numbers you would get chesterville and east. Inbetween chesterville and berwick is the best in my opinion

I have never fished below spenserville but go through there lots to the camp, and i have never seen anyone fishing there, the water is extremely shallow there, its more of a stream/creek there
