The boat is wet....

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

The boat is wet....

Post by RJ »

Yesterday was the earliest I've ever had my boat on the water...strong winds made the day interesting but we stuck it out for awhile...and what a start to the year.....

After a few cookie cutter 3-4 pound Brown Trout....this big girl came to the party.....what a fish...

It is my new PB....I've caught my share of 9's and 10's out of Port Hope but this fish was above that without a doubt. I don't carry a scale and didn't get a tape on it before she went back....

Now there's a stunning trout, RJ. Very nice picture, too. Congratulations on your new PB and for kicking off the softwater / boat season with a true "bang".

As for "cookie cutter" 3 and 4 pounders, I would gladly take those, or the cookies, with a fair amount of enthusiasm.
