the pike lake

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

why dont you mark the map with letters so that we can easily identify ...i.e....a-b-c-d-e-f-

BTW... I would fish the rocky drop off on the north shore.

verry good in the summer time to find the small mouth.

flip the drop ... where a deep log is resting.

beasat everytime.

that drop brakes from 0 to 20 - 25.

then rebrakes to 65 +

well i guess depending on the time of the year, and water temps but I usually go to the weeds first, then if that's not working rock piles in shallower water, then plan C would be to start looking for the dropoffs or cover/boulders in some deeper water.

But probalby would end up just going to a walleye lake instead :P j/k

Through the ice I would fish off the rock point in pike bay 2. I find pike move from the deep to feed shallow down our way. Usually about 3pm in the winter I will move shallow and get them. 11' to 13' worked best for me.
