My buddy caught his lure that he lost 6 hours before...He was about 500ft from were he lost it so the fish must have come off and it got stuck to a log....Fished around the log and on the retrieve it snagged the line that had broken off. Got the lure back....Now for me it was either an innertube for a tire or the coke can from Miss lake...the can gave a few good head shakes but I brought her into the boat for a weight and it was a doozy...just over a pound with water and less than 4oz empty
i caught a 13 inch sea lamprey in the st.lawrence on a pink salted worm, the lamprey actually hit the lure, i thought i had a small perch or something. i cut it's head off
A HUGE thick plastic bag filled with water while salmon fishing in the tidewaters out in BC. We thought for sure we had a huge Halibut on because ever time the current caught it, it would inflate with water, take off and dive!! I played that frigging bag for almost an hour.
A beaver got tangled in my line and was brought top shore on the Madawaska just below the dam in Stewartville and I had a seagull grab my floating rapala in a small lake Huntsville. Got it too the boat...that was a bad idea........but it flew away....kinda pee pee off.....
Ive caught an old lure while trolling, half a fishn rod, and a muffler .
My buddy has caught a seagull while fishn topwater for bass with me, it let go right next to the boat .
The same buddy did manage to land this guy while fishn catfish.
