Oh yeah! At some point in time you will forget to put in the plug or inadertently stick it in the wrong hole. (That will always get you in trouble ) In my case I was draining the boat after a heavy rain and when I replaced the plug I put it in the drain for my live well.

We were in 200' of water when my brother noticed we were taking on water. Put the plug from the livewell in the drain hole and gave my bilge pump a major work out. Now I always carry a spare plug.

Some would certainly try to convince you it's possible.

I did that also, but remembered soon enough, water was getting in but the boat was still on the trailer.

J my buddies dad was talking about this and thought you had to be an idiot to forget to put the plug in.....then two days later karma bit him in the butt and guess what....Did you see a 14ft tinny down the shore from you looking just like that boat??

He now thinks that you must be a pretty smart guy to have this happen to you 8)
