almost lost an eye tonight and report.

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Nice trout, glad you didn't get hooked. Sure can't get much closer than that to losing an eye from a hook.

My father-in-law got a HUGE hook from a treble through hid right nostril!

That happened about 20 years ago... but he still has the hole ... it never did fill in :) guess you could say he was a man way ahead of his time... getting a nostril pierced that is...

Nice bump Joco, you were lucky! I had no idea there would be trout in the Brassiere Creek. I can remember the garbage that use to float down that stream many years ago.

Joco just phone the Emergency at the hospital and ask them if you should go in. they'll ask you a lot of questions.

But I guess you went fishing this morning so it should be better.
When hell freezes over, I'll be there icefishing!!!

joco,

hope your bump is OK -- did u ice it? i'll bet it's quite tender to the touch today. believe me, i know about "boo-boo's" right now.

hope the trout dinner made up for the bad luck. and you are fortunate it was not your eye...that would have been horrible.
