How is Shad run at Carillion?

Dis anyone hit Carillion for Shad fishing recently? How is the biting? Thanks.

i think the shad run is earlier....but i'm not too sure. search it up on the fish-hawk.

actualy there a bit late this year last yera at this weekend we were there and they were going strong.
you better chek french site..montreal area to get more info.

I just want to thank your guys info. I went there last Sunday and fishing was great but weather was chilly and raining most of the day. Quebec side fishing is better but too many boats and it is hard to find your good position. I lost probably 8 darts at that day. I bought a Quebec fishing license and the price was increased to $62 from last year's $52. I knew I may go fishing that part of water body legally using Ontario license but I just don't want take the possible risk. It is worth the money since this will be my one of the best fishing day of the year. BTW, does anyone know if La Baron sell this special jig? Thanks.

U can use ur ON licese to fish from the dam to point fortune. I bought the QC licese and fishined in montreal but caught no shad but seen alot of people catching them but i caught bottem. But i managed a few walleyes. The weather sucked.

Seahawk, give Bowzog at Bits and Baits a call. I think he has some shad darts in stock.

I do......only white left......in 1/4 and 1/8 oz. They've been good sellers as of late!
