Hi All, This is my first post and I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me where the closest "Musky" lake is in relation to Ottawa. I fish both the Ottawa and Rideau rivers but I'm interested in trying out a local lake.

Closest are Stucco and Moira lakes. Unless you cross into Quebec.

Stoco Lake, in Tweed has Muskies. I can't reason with trailering a boat that far to beat the water to a froth when the Ottawa, Rideau and St Lawrence River(s) have the potential of a huge fish. If it's lakes you want to fish and not rivers.....try the Kawartha chain, not including Rice Lake.

Thanks Guys.
My family and I rent a cottage every summer and now that I fish for musky I want to rent on a good musky lake. I would be interested in a quebec lake as we have always rented in quebec.
I've seen a cottage on Donaldson Lake and apparently there are muskies there but it looks like a pretty small body of water and I'm not sure what the fishing would be like.
Lots of Muskie lakes:

I live ten minutes from Stoco and 30 seconds from Moira and fish them about three to four times weekly.
Fish Muskie only so I know the spots, etc.
If you need advice on Stoco, Moira or nearby, pm or e-mail me.
