I still have some stinky liver in the freezer from last year

Anybody gettin' any cats yet, or are all the spots still frozen up? I have been to both my places this wknd. and it won't be long now, you can almost watch the ice melt

My bullhead spot is open water all winter.
Went there for a walk on Thurs after work, ice at the dam, but flowing good. No cats there yet... soon...
New for this year, there is a black bear hanging out at my spot. Bear sign everywhere (scat, tracks, torn up wood).
Hmmm, late night, carring a pail of fish, with a hungry bear just out of hibernation waiting...

Looking forward to seeing you down there Joco...and so is the city of Ottawa...they are missing their statue on the bench
Don't think we need to worry about bears there!
Out4trout- I wouldn't worry about your bucket of fish...with all the sewage, etc. in the river, the bear knows better

Hahaha
Not the Ottawa river though - perhaps the bear came down this way for the cleaner water...
